What a Chadian mobile number looks like

Chad uses the country code +235 and eight-digit subscriber numbers. You dial them internationally as +235 plus the eight digits, and there is no trunk zero to remove. Written out, a number takes the shape +235 XX XX XX XX, though apps want it without spaces.

When an app asks for your phone, select Chad (Tchad in French-language menus) from the country list, then paste only the eight digits. If you paste the full +235 string into a field that already shows the code, some forms double it and reject the number. Check that before blaming the SMS.

French, Arabic or English: the language of your code

With French and Arabic as official languages, a +235 number may receive verification texts in either, or in English. The choice usually comes from the app and your account language, not from the number. Arabic messages can display right to left on some screens, but the numeric code itself reads the same.
