Your Checklist for a Greek +30 Verification Number

Get these sorted before buying a +30 number

Greece pulls in very different readers: a second-generation Greek in Melbourne opening a local account, a summer-season worker on Crete, a developer in Athens checking how an app treats Greek numbers. The prep is the same for all of them.

• Decide between one code and a lasting number. A one-time confirmation needs only Instant OTP. A number you will log in with again belongs on a Dedicated Number.

• Accept that some apps say no. Certain services refuse virtual numbers outright, which is exactly why unanswered orders are refunded.

How to write a Greek mobile number in a form

Greek numbers are ten digits long, and mobiles start with 69. Unlike much of Europe, Greece has no trunk 0 in front, so the domestic digits and the international digits are the same; you simply add +30.

• Country selector present? Choose Greece (+30) and enter the ten digits starting with 69.
• One field only? Type +30 followed by those ten digits.
• Do not add a 0 after +30. The number will not match and the code will go nowhere.

Messages can arrive in Greek or English depending on the app and your account language. The code itself is plain digits either way.

When the code does not show up

No code inside 20 minutes means no charge: the full price is returned to your wallet automatically. If you can tell early that the app failed, cancel the order yourself and the refund comes back just the same, provided no code arrived.

A short troubleshooting list:

1. Confirm the digits in the app match the number in your dashboard exactly.
2. Use the app's resend button once; some orders allow a further SMS on the same number.
3. Cancel and try another Greek number for the same service.
4. If one app keeps failing, it is probably blocking virtual numbers. Try a different country if that app permits it.
