What AliExpress needs your number for

AliExpress can link a mobile number to your account in more than one place. Depending on your region, you may register with a phone number instead of an email, receive a code when signing in from a new phone, or be asked to confirm security changes by text. Separately, every shipping address carries a contact number that couriers may use on delivery day.

Those two uses deserve different numbers. A verification line only has to receive a short code. A delivery contact has to be reachable by a person, sometimes by voice. Keep that split in mind as you go through the list below.

How to get the AliExpress OTP, from order to code

1. In your OTP Bolt dashboard, open Instant OTP.
2. Search for AliExpress and choose your country.
3. Copy the number that appears.
4. On AliExpress, set the same country code and paste the number. If the code is already shown in the field, paste only the local part and leave off any leading zero.
5. Tap the button to send the SMS code.

AliExpress code missing? Go through these checks

1. Look at the number in the AliExpress field. A repeated country code or an extra zero will send the SMS nowhere.
2. Confirm the code was meant for SMS. If AliExpress sent it to your email instead, the text inbox will stay empty.
3. Give it a short pause if you pressed resend several times; the app may slow down repeated requests.
4. Watch for a refusal message. AliExpress can decline certain virtual numbers, and in that case cancel the order for a refund.
5. Where offered, request another SMS on the same number, or switch to a different country with a fresh order.
